Since 1994,
Dr. Li, as a principal investigator, has obtained a total of $1,932,296
external research funding from federal and state agencies (USDA/NRI,
USDA/CRSEES, USDA/Food Safety Consortium, NSF, ASTA, ABI), industrial
groups (EPRI/FTC, US Poultry & Egg Association) and private companies
(Monsanto, ALKAR, Electrochemical Technologies, Tyson Foods, Simmons
Foods, Johnson Food Equipment, Safe Foods). He also has been involved
in other research projects with a total of $1,636,692 as
co-investigator. For both PI and Co-PI, a total of $3,568,988
has been awarded for research grants.
